What is the production date on your bottle? My 64 oz has a polycharger label on it:

Damn yakky - that looks like enough to do a several 100 cars! :D I usually use 10-12 drops on a full sized car. Do you detail full time?

I'll have to check the production date. But my label does not look like yours. Geez, you have enough to detail everyone's car. Cause a little goes a long way.
 
My 32 oz refill is NOT labled with Polycharger either. :confused: ( product date 11-11-09 on bottom) first 16oz bottle was. Guess I'll give them a call.
 
I just use 3 coats of BFWD total, over the course of 2 or 3 days.



If you are convinced that a wax topper benefits you, though...you might as well go with what Blackfire recommends: BF Midnight Sun. I reckon that's a topper for BFWD, but you should verify. I think their gimmic is "fire on top of ice" or something like that :).

Try OCW. It works incredibly well with BWD in my experience!

Yea I used it a few times over BFWD before I got the Spray Gloss Sealant and while OCW itself is already slick, the BF by itself is way slicker.

Just to add my 2 cents about adding a carnauba wax on top of a sealant: some people add sealant because it lasts longer, more durable, and more protective than just a carnauba wax by itself. The finish is really slick and glossy. Some people like a more warm look to their car, so they would add carnauba wax on top of the sealant to give it a deep warm look.



I wasn't aware that adding a carnauba would decrease the sealants performance. I was originally going to top my Z2-Pro with P21S 100%, but after much suggestions from here, decided to top with Z8 instead.



And if for some reason I decided to top the Z2 with a carnauba wax, then I would need to get a carnauba based QD correct?

Incorrect. Just use Z8 over P21S, it will work fine. Just because you have a carnuaba on doesn't mean you have to use a canuaba QD.
 
Funny thing is, my car looked most glassy and reflective the morning after my 1 coat of BFWD had time to cure.

I applied a 2nd coat of BFWD that day and allowed it again to cure overnight, and the morning after that, it looked great, but not nearly as glassy as with just 1 coat :up. Good slickness, though. I had a friend touch the paint and he almost slipped right off :chuckle:.
 
I also agree with allowing BFWD to sit. I apply to the whole car, then wipe away. The next day the surface is twice as slick as it initially was.
