I just finished polishing my car with the above combo..its a Renaissance Red 1995 Lexus SC300. After polishing i noticed slight buffer trails and some marring. What would be the next 1 or 2 logical steps? btw i'm also using a PC7424

Ideally, go with #205 and a white LC pad. You can always use #80 if you have some around.

I would try 205 and a Megs 2.0 Black Finishing pad. I am getting hologram free results on a soft black nsx with the same method. (105/Megs 2.0 Polishing Pad and followed with 205/Megs 2.0 Finishing Pad).

Do they sell Megs 2.0 Polishing Pad over the counter, like AutoZone, Murray's or Pepboy's?

I don't think so, but a body shop supply store should be able to get you one or two.

Menzerna 106FF/FA with a white pad will work fine to clear those up......

If you want to three step it, PO 85RD or Ultrafina with a black/gray will finish it off nicely before you chose a wax or sealant.......

No, those are all CHOICES for you as your finishing polish. You pick ONE of those for your last polishing step.

ok, so then you still need a sealant/wax after that, correct?
