What to do with Uber-dry paint?

Yeah, what Brazo said. Any cleaning ability #7 has seems to come from the "general solvent nature" of products of this kind; it's not really a "cleaner". The idea is to let the stuff really soak into the paint, imparting as much moisturizing as it can. I got this method from Mike Phillips when I was doing a very dried out Jag with ~30 year old lacquer.

oh right. i was getting #7 mixed up with meg's mppc cleaner. letting a glaze sit does make sense.

oh right. i was getting #7 mixed up with meg's mppc cleaner. letting a glaze sit does make sense.
