what to do with morning dew ?

Every morning when I leave the house the car is covered with dew. My school is right around the corner so there is no way I can pick up enough speed to just blow the water off. I want to know if it's ok to just dry it off with a MF before I head out and let the wind dry off the rest ? Thanks

I'd just leave it. It will dissipate, so no need for extra wiping. I would just go about with your weekly cleaning as scheduled.

Uh... weekly schedule? How often do you guys detail your cars, how many do you have and out of those how many get detailed weekly?

Just wanna know.

I just let it evaporate naturally. As mentioned prior just follow your normal cleaning pattern (ie weekly wash). A quik fix wipedown for appearance purposes is not worth the damaged causes by wiping a non-cleaned surface in haste with any type towel. Car covers also have their drawbacks for vehicles parked outdoors also creating more work in terms of repairing the surface marring they (covers) produce.

I have a white daily driver SUV that sits outside 24/7 and I leave for the hospital at about 5am. Every morning it is coated with dew. By 9am the moisture is gone and a pristine finished is revealed for all to admirer. A good protectant will achieve this goal. JMHO

i have two cars. one is an suv that is washed wekly and detailed every month by me. the other is my black silverado and it is cleaned daily. i use a water blade to take the majority of the dew off. then use a waffle weave towel to finish it off. at nite before the sun goes down i usually use a qd spray. then on days that are nice i use a booster wax . this involves using a qd spray first and then the booster wax. i spend a lot of time on my little black shadow. usually my little boy is with me and we have quality time.

I am waiting for the day that i have to explain to a police officer that I was doing 60 in a 45 because I was trying to blow the morning dew off of my car...thats my daily routine for drying my car.
