My boss si going to be bringing me alot of his vehicles to have work done on them he want's full details. I just did his mercedes convertible and made it a freebie to show him my work. his next vehicle is going to be a bmw 4 door what do you think would be a good price to charge him so he is not slighted yet I am not loosing my shirt for all my hardwork.

I agree charge what you would anyone else, after all you just gave him one for free.

Don't low ball this guy or you will be cleaning his cars at that level from this point forward

You did the first job free, that being done charge full boat on the rest.He got his "pearl" he must like the work you did on the first car so CHARGE HIM. Never be afraid to charge for doing quality work.

I see most are afraid to charge good money for there work because of "the other guy" he charges this much.

Forget the other shops, charge what you will and tell the customer why you charge that price and what he/she gets in return.Last week there was a guy here that said his dad payed 5-k for 1 car,and that's not including travel expenses to get there to do the job.I frankly find that hard to believe but it was printed her.

I got a SONY TV but never fly the repair man in from japan for adjustments when needed.

2x That's good preaching :bigups

Pricing varies based on your market. You should comparison shop the competition for a general idea. Also, figure out your actual costs and what you want to make.

At this point you don't know if he liked your work or the price.
I would have a lot of detail work for you also as long as it was free.

Charge him at the hourly rate that you want for your work if he can afford a Mercedes he can afford to pay you a decent wage.

Why is your time worth less for him than someone else. :passout:

charge him the same as you do others, you already gave him a freebee.
if he is going to bring you more work, just do a really good job. don't cheese on anything.
