I know the 'noobs' post this all the time. I've been lurking for a bit, gumptioned up the intestinal fortitude to ask....

I've got a lot of product, here's a rundown of the stuff I have right now.

PC orbital polisher

Griots machine polish 2,3

4x griots orange pads

1x griots red wax pad

griots wax removal bonnet

griots clay

meg's best of class wax

3 bottles quick detailer

1 bottle nxt detailer

1 bottle nxt spray wax

1 bottle griots speed shine

that's most of the exterior stuff-I've got the cursory turtle wax, etc. for the 'guest' polishing...won most of the meg's stuff at car shows, and griots is real close to the house. (BTW, their cord winder is awesome...)

My only critique of the griots stuff, is that it doesn't seem to work real fast. I tried to polish out some swirls and scratches on the jetta this week, and after mach. pol. 2, and three, they were still there. I've got some experience behind the buffer, but it doesn't seem to yield a real good time v. results ratio with the products I have. What would be a better set of polishes that I could use with most of what I have, to minimize my outlay right now? It works OK on the rabbit, but it could be better, but the jetta always has some swirlies, even though I try and be careful not to put them back..

TIA.

here's some pix of the rabbit, took first at this show..it's original 1977 paint!!!

(and I polished the wheels and did the TDI install myself as well)
