What should I top PO106FF with?

Just finished putting on PO106FF. What to layer it next? Wax? I don't have sealant :(

Here is what I have, want to make sure it's right:

- Klasse AIO, FPII and JW Prime (similar to PO106FF, so probably not I would assume :))

- Menzerna Final Touch Glaze

- Menzerna FMJ

- JW AJ Trigger

- Natty's Blue

- DG AW

- Meg's QD

Thanks for any inputs

Menzerna Glaze, then FMJ (this is a sealant).

Wait 24 hours, another coat of FMJ.

Wait 24 hours then Natty Blue.

Thanks! Glaze and FMJ with PC (It would take a LONG time :( LOL)? If so, which pad?

And..is it necessary to use Glaze and FMJ before Blue or can just go directly to Blue? Just curious.

If you are going to use the FMJ, it needs to be before the Blue. Glaze then FMJ then Blue will give an awesome finish.

Pad depends on correction needed. If no swirls, use a finishing pad. If correction is needed, use a pad with cut.

Yea, you can only protect the work you just did with 106ff. Right now you have bare paint, are you looking to layer LSP's. If not, I would go with FMJ or Nattys blue.

106 works very well with Zaino sealants. I usually follow 106 with Z-PC then Z-6 then Z-2 or Z-5.

The entire Menzerna line seems to work well in fact with Zaino.

Following 106 with ZPC seems more like a wasted step. 106 finishes so fine. He also does not ask anything about Zaino products in the OP. Why bring them into it?

At our shop our detailer uses 106 on black cars . He buffs it with a black foam pad , he follows with Mothers liquid caranuba with a PC. You should see how great the cars come out. Every car is picture perfect.

Well, after spending 2 days detailing my car, here are the results.

- Wash

- Clay

- PO106FF

- Menz Glaze

- Menz FMJ

Pretty fustrated actually because too much dust everywhere that I am constantly wiping off the paint. Can't get rid of it unless i wash the car again. Can see some it on the pics.

I plan to do one more coat of FMJ (not sure if it's need though) and then Natty's Blue.

A Lot of work, but wasn't perfect. Still had some small scratches that I couldn't get out. Due to time constraints and tired :) I stopped there. Was hoping for perfection, but guess it's unreasonable to expect ZERO scratches.

All in all, a pretty good experience for my first time detailing.

Looks really good to me. The extra coat of FMJ just adds longivity as does the Blue.

Absolute lack of swirls is very hard to accomplish and ever harder to maintain.

Thanks! I don't have swirls at all. Just micro straight line scratches only seen in certain lighting angles. No sure how to get rid of those. Maybe SIP with an orange pad?

Forgot to ask, I do plan to put on another coat of FMJ and then Natty's Blue. However, I may not get to it for a few days. Should I avoid washing the car at all before the next layers? It is my daily driver so it may get a bit dirty. If I do have to wash it, how should i wash it? Regularly? And would that ruin the first FMJ layer?

You can wash it no problem...Im sure after that polishing, that the FMJ was a complete joy. It is the easiest product I have ever used to wipe off. Looks very good.
