What QD Spray to use with the Klasse Twins?

I want some suggestions on what QD spray to use with the Klasse twins. I may add a layer of Souveran over the Klasse twins. I was just wonderin if I can use my Zaino QD Z-6 and Z-8 with the twins and or with the Souveran. I like the Z-6 QD it works great but I just wonder if it will work well with these or should I try another QD? Let me know what you guys think.

If your going to top it, then really any QD will work (quikshine gets my vote). If your going to run straight K-twins though, your going to want to make sure you don't use a carnauba enhanced QD like crystal mist. That would interfere with additional layers of SG bonding.

I never wax or top my Klasse twins (unless I had a dark car color). But I do QD quite a bit. I have used the following on my silver Honda - Eagle One W&S; Menzerna High Gloss Acrylic Shield; PoorBoys S&G and Jeff's Acrylic Gloss. All are very similar in application and ease of removal with the Eagle One requiring a tad more elbow grease to remove the haze. Each of these detailers have some strong points.

The appearance of all are very similar and they are all compatible with the Klasse. Perhaps my favorite is the Menzerna. It leaves a wetter look than the others and it is quite durable. I really think it could even serve as a replacement for the Klasse SG, although I use it only as a detailer. It is expensive however and not easily found.

If you have dust and even a little dirt, the PoorBoys S&G seems to attack it better with less rubbing. Having said this, I would rather use PoorBoys Spray and Wipe if the car has a little dirt on it and not use any of these detailers until I did that first.

Eagle One is cheap and found everywhere. It is by far the best value and bang for the buck of the QDs I have tried. Jeff's is very good too and leaves a shine about the equal, or nearly so, to the Menzerna.

Which is best is up to you to decide and there will be many opinions, and each is valid since color of vehicle and ease of application play major roles in finding the right QD for you. Just be sure you get poly and acrylic based products if you continue to use Klasse.

Would the Z-6 or z-8 keep additional layers of SG from bonding? Or any QD for that matter?

The "Souveran" will keep additional layers of SG from bonding... nevermind the QD?

I've never topped the Klassies with anything but Sonus Acrylic Spritz. It contains acrylic, revives the shine, and improves the slickness. What's not to like?

If you are just topping the SG really any would work.. some may give a different look than others

If you want to stick with acrylics..the Sonus and Werkstatt A-Glos will be fine. After around 12 hours the SG will be bonded and any QD will not interfere. I top A-Jett all the time with C-Glos because I like the look it gives.

Sonus not only made Klasse SG easier for me to use it really makes the product POP.

I found I used so little that one bottle lasted forever, I think I may have did 50 layers ( in between polishing sessions) with that one bottle.

I also did a review on the Davids site and he sent me a free bottle!

Today there is a sale im sure your aware of, 25% off..... Coupon code"SAVEBIG"

I say go with the sonus, Eagle one would be my second choice and its cheap and easily available.

Every time I got all my SG layers on and topped with a Carnuba I regretted it. Once you get the SG on there nice and slick more layers are so easy and it lasts and lasts........

I cant wait for spring so I can polish, AIO and SG..... or maybe like last year I will just drive to Florida and get it done in Jan or Feb.... yea I know its a sickness, but I do it.

With a straight Klasse combination, I use either the original, old school QD (diluted SG/water 1:3) or Menzerna’s HGAS. Otherwise, for anything else carnauba or synthetic it’s FK 425.
