What products would you use on a Lamborghini?

Yes some CC's and SS paints react differently, some are soft, some are hard, some are hard but scratch easily ect.

That does not mean that certain vehicle may require a high end product to fix or make right.

As far as a LSP, thats subjective and is totaly up to the owner or detailer on what would compliment the color. IMO a LSP is the least important factor on any vehicle, making the paint perfect is whats important regardless of LSP IMO.

Not always the same paint or clearcoat wise, but many times...But arent looks subjective? If someone thinks that using Zymol makes their car look better to them, than it is worth it to them.

Put something else in that bottle, color it blue...they will never know the difference...seriously.

I tried explaining to someone why I use Sealants, they wanted wax anyways....I used Sealant anyways because I had no time to buy wax that day.

They thought it was the BEST wax they had ever seen!

People......

Lying to a customer seems a little unethical to me. If they want wax, I give them wax...If they want sealant, I give them sealant. But I am not going to tell them it is wax if I am using a sealant.

hmmmm, when you call someone and want something in the next 30 minutes and I am the ONLY one who will do it, you sometimes do what you have to do.

Tell me, "Unethical" explain? I would love for you to elaborate a little more, cause not only did I give him a FAR SUPERIOR product that will protect his car better, it will last longer.

Unethical my friend....is if I pulled out the "Instant Glaze" spray on wax and used that.

To each their own, however I would be a little more reluctant to say something like that to someone you don't know

I am in no way calling you an unethical person buddy. I said that if a customer wants wax and someone gives them sealant, I think that the person should be obligated to tell the customer that he gave them sealant. If I am at a restaurant and I order pork and they give me lamb, should they not tell me, just because they feel the lamb is better?

What unethical is the fact you lied. What you should have done is say "hey, this is all i got, it is one of the best paint sealants you can buy from any manufacturer". At that point you gave them an option to let you or not let you.

Once again...every situation is different, I told him that was all I had, unless your their to converse with the idiot, you can't pass judgement....:wall

Actually no, but I am using a Browser that is being a PITA, so it seems easier to post that way..trying new things is a great thing when it comes to Linux

Being un-honest is never different

I don't believe so.....

(more true) Would have sounded better

Once again, when they are begging for you to come and detail their car, yoru telling them you don't have wax and they aren't listening...........fill in the blank maybe?

Yet you still told him it was wax...To quote you, "They thought it was the BEST wax they had ever seen"...Im not going to argue with you about it. If you feel you did nothing wrong, then so be it...We obviously just have different outlooks about it, that is all.

Well. I'd start with a Scotchbrite pad to get off any bugs or contamination. Then I'd put a nice coat of Turtle Wax on with an old sock and buff it out with some old towels. Should look pretty good after that.

Hazard!!!... What if the guy took you seriously? :wall

I kinda think its funny that people with high end cars think that it requires high end products to mantaine. Paint wyse its the same as any other car.

No, but people with high-end cars are able/willing to spend more money IF NECESSARY to protect their investment.
