What products to add to PremiumAutoCare.com...

Hey guys!

Check out this website and tell me if these products look up to your standards..... I personally have used alot of there products over the years and have been very happy.

If you guys agree, I will carry almost everything that they offer!

www.smarnold.com Take a look at the complete online catalog.

SM Arnold,
I have used/and am using some of their products and seem to be good quality.
Seems like people in "the biz" know the quality and like it:)
Would be a good line to carry.
I also like Buff and Shine pads. Good quality and a little lower price. Lake County also makes high quality pads.
Remember to get good quality, scratchless/non-marring hand applicator pads too for the "finishing touch" of pampered auto's:)

Wayne are you talking about the 6 inch Buff And Shine Pads that come in yellow for cutting and black for finishing?

We carry a few Buff And Shine items but just don't have them online yet....

I think mine are 8 or 9" for the rotary.
But, yes, same company. I like the contour edge pads as they really work great and keep the finish protected against the backing plate "mishaps".
I have several boxes from my last order..., I don't like ordering one or two at a time and ordered a couple of cases to keep here for personal use:)
They seem like they are competitively priced and good quality pads..., so far I like them anyhow.
They have 5 different PPI pads, so you can get them "custom" for your application ( 50, 60, 70, 80 and 100 ppi pads) white, black, blue, green and yellow, in order of agressiveness from polishing to cutting.

Hi Dwayne,

I just received my first order from you and I'm impressed by the speed and packaging. You have got it going on there.

A few things I would like to see and would buy:

1. More selection of buffer pads. Maybe Lake County?
2. Sheepskin wash mitts or maybe large 9x9 mitts (I love em)
3. Eimann Fabrik cleaners, etc.

Not much to add as far as I'm concerned. You have a great site!

Matt

Which ones are you must interested in? I am working on an order....
Dwayne,

I would like to see the 6 1/2" DA pads....cutting and polishing mostly. These are what I have been using with great results. They hold up pretty well....

Also, a few of the VC pads (6 1/2") would be nice to try as well, in the same agressiveness (polishing and cutting).

Thanks!
Brian

Dwayne,

For Lake Country Pads, I would also like to see the VC pads in all levels.

The Tufted Foam pads (cutting and polishing) are excellent. I use the yellow cutting pad instead of wool. A great pad.

Thanks for listening to us!

Matt

A couple more things to add:

Collinite waxes,
Dewalt rotary,
Einzsett Glass cleaner and
Anything Anthony uses.

Just my .02 worth

You can't be all things to all people.
All these products sound great, but you still have to be able to sell enough of each of them to make it worthwhile to have them in stock. Any of these items that don't move are just costing you money to keep in inventory.
No doubt you have a handle on this, but I would sure hate to have you get overextended and have to pull a K-Mart on us. :)

Well, it wont hurt if he decides to sell 'DAWN' there

I can't buy it locally

I hear ya Charles.

We are in a nice position with vendors where we can introduce a product line with very low or no minimums and stock items accordingly to what moves. If I have a slow mover I am able to send back for credit or sell at cost to get it out the door.

In addition to our website we have our retail store plus our truck delivering to dealerships so these items get adequate exposure.

While we don't want to get too big we do want to make sure that we have an adequate product offering to be worthy of calling ourselves "Premium" AutoCare.com

From information gathered in this thread and also taking into consideration our local demand, here are some items to add that will get the highest priority from me....... also need to add that we have ALOT of products locally that I just havent added to the website yet like high speed buffers and pads and SEM dyes to name a few.

1. Makita, Dewalt and Porter Cable Buffers

2. The Edge Foam Pads

3. Lake Country VC and tufted pads.

4. Genuine Sheepswool Wash Mitts from S.M. Arnold and other assorted applicators and brushes

5. Wurth, if I can locate a local rep

6. Stoner Products

7. Maybe Einszett..... although I have some great reviews I think I am missing something...... I experimented with "Glanz Wax" and it was like waxing a car with Naptha...... very thin and watery, strong naptha smell and fast solvent evaporation..... still need to look at the other products

We have recently added OXO brushes and Luster Lace products.
Poorboys is coming soon.

Also have a few lines we are looking at and in talks with various manufacturers. When I look at vendor websites and catalogs it is just like Christmas for me!

You know the special feeling when UPS brings your car care supplies??? I get that every day with some HUGE boxes and our UPS delivery guys gets his daily workout at our place.

So, why do you need Dawn? Do you have some dirty dishes?:D
In case you haven't guessed, I'm not a fan of "Dawn washes". If you need to remove wax, there are products better suited for that purpose. Just my opinion. :)

Yeah, right, thanks!

About the Einzsett, you should know better about that pure synthetic wax. Anyway, their plastic and rubber care products are a must have. I'd advice you the following products from them:

- Raindace Shampoo
- Cockpit Premium - great cleaner, neutral finish
- Vinyl/Rubber treatment - very similar to 303, smells better
- Rubber Protection (gummy pfeldger)

These ones are superior quality. About the polishes, I have them all, as-well as almost every other. I used them time to time, as I do with the wax.
