What products do you plan to try in 08?

what is the difference between these menzerna polishes,

106FF and FPII or say 106FA?

and SIP and IP?

Has anyone tried BF midnight sun ivory carnauba paste wax?

Sorry for all these questions will be placing an order soon.

Sorry for all these questions will be placing an order soon.

Putting it in the simplest terms:

SIP & 106FF = For Ceramic Clear Coats (very hard German finishes) but most of us use it on conventional clear coats because they finish down very very fine and almost dust free.

IP & FPII = For normal clear coats. Both work very well but dust too much for me. They are about half the cost of the CC polishes.

If you have them money DEFINITELY get the SIP over IP. I have the 106FF and don't think that its anything ultra special. Each of the CC polishes will run you $50 for 32ozs.

I do not know anything other than whats posted at detailers domain on the 106FA.

I just ordered a megs solo backing plate, I figured if Rydawg and Toto like it, it should be good.

3M, get us some 6" blue finishing pads here in the US. I am thinking of cutting down on of my 8" pads on a bandsaw.

A couple more of the Duragloss products.

The new revised version of Optimum Spray Wax (if they ever get it on the market)

Probably NXT 2.0 (not sure why though? :D )

A couple more of the new Mothers products, including their new pro line.

IP won't dust if you use DG 601 underneath it.

IP has more cut on traditional clears than SIP does however the finish is definately better than IP

106 not special. yes we are all unique and have differences in tastes and likes but maybe your not working it long enough. It could be that the vehicle you've tried it on doesn't like that, I know my daily driver hates it, refuses to let it be applied by giving the rotary convulsions and epilepy fits

jeff werkstatt AJ

maybe prime strong. (don't know if it's neccesary?)

optimum polishes (poorboys dusting turning me off)

beauty wax - probibly nattys blue or s100 maybe ps if i could find a deal on it

it's going to me a looooong winter. this will be my first winter with a black car, wish me luck!!
