what product has far exceeded your expectations?

LC's Purple Foamed Wool Pad. The thing is simply amazing. Cuts like wool, finishes like foam. If I were told I could only have one pad, this would be it.

Menzerna SIP. Yup, it can be a total PITA, but when it works, wow, does it work.

Flex 3403 rotary. I've only had it for a couple weeks, but I'm completely sold on it. Best money I've spent in a while.

Stoners Invisible Glass

FK1 425. Not just because it's a great QD, but because the anti-static properties keep my nuba finishes from looking like dust magnets. Oh, and it really does keep computer monitors and TV's looking great, too. Thanks for that tip, gents. :)

Eurow shag MF's.

DWG-- I had high hopes for this one, I was still impressed!

DG AW-- I love haw it works, easy on/good slickness/lasts plenty for a spray wax.

845 IW lasts through MN winters. Including salt/grime/touchless only washes/no boosters.

I've found a few detailers that are slicker than 425 and have much more protection but only the 425 is anti static. No contest in that regard

Won't be trying optimum's though.

CD-2 Engine Detailer. can't say that i am dissappointed with this product, and it's worth the $4.99 i paid for it. would definitely buy it again...

Z-CS - gets a bad press around here, but the first time i used it I found it added more gloss to the Z-2 finish than i got from Z-8! Less slick but beads and sheets well and seems to be holding up nicely.

Bilt Hamber Surfex HD - dont think its available in the US yet, but is a water based safe degreaser and i cleaned door shuts etc with a 1% solution! Great wax-safe pre-soak at 3% and mucky engine bays are a breeze with a 5-10% solution and its really cheap as well.

Looking back through this thread, I decided to chime back in:

ONR, DWG, OID, FK #425, OCW v2, Optimum Polish, CMW, AW, Z5 Pro, Z2 Pro, Z8, Z12, Z12, Z7, FK Pink Wax, FK 1000p, FX-100, CG Citrus Wash, DP Krystal Vision, AJT, Woolite (as a APC), CG Trim Gel, CG 5050, CG Pete's 53, Natty's Blue,

Trade Secret, M26 Paste just to name a few.

I've been using a Sonus foam applicator with CS and have been getting great durability. It looks like adding a coat of clear on light colors.

SSII (looked better and lasted longer then I was lead to believe), OCW (so easy to use, looks great), ONR, FK 425 (thought it was going to be all hype and it proved they hype was right), FK 1000p (easy to apply, looks fantastic and lasts), M105, SIP (another one I thought was just hype), 4" LC flat pads (work even better the 5.5" pads with PC, they correct very well)

i would have to say good high quality microfiber towels. it's amazing how much easier they make wiping product(s) off... :up

Duragloss Nu Glass. Best glass polish I've used. Took out some old nasty acid rain.etching on my conversion van. Presta Metal Polish, a fantastic product for chrome and aluminum. All from Carquest.
