what polish before sealant

Do you mean using griots instead of AIO? Or in general, if it makes a difference between 3M SMR and Griots #2 when you plan to use a sealant?
Personally I use AIO before I apply any sealant (regardless of which product). It is a great paint cleaner, and it does a great job of removing any filler oils that might have been left behind by previous compounds.
What do you hope to accomplish with the polish? Remove swirls? Oxidation? etc?
I have read about someone using klasse and blackfire successfully together, I forget who it was though
. It can be done though.

In that case I would use 3M Swirl Mark Remover, and 3M Finesse it II. (applied in reverse order). If your swirls are pretty light, you could probably get away with just using the SMR.
Before applying the sealant, I would use a proper pretreater (like blackfire polish, or Klasse AIO) so you remove any filling oils that SMR may have left behind.
