What other pads will I need?

Heres the kit I'm looking at.



Porter Cable 7424 & Foam Pad Kit - Car Buffer



Will I need any other pads? Ive got the polishes and compounds allready.

that kit looks to be complete

only thing i would add is a 3.5 backing plate and a few 4" black finishing pads for applying paste waxes in a tin with the pc (the wolfgang polishing pads work nice for this





Wolfgang Polishin’ Pal is an ergonomically shaped urethane handle that holds specially designed foam pads using hooks & loops.

Ahh, good suggestion. I bet the Polishing pal will work great with the unneccessarily small opening on the 476s tin.

Haha. That happened to me today...I stare at the opening and wondered which Einstein was responsible for the small opening:furious: .



Tips Ive read are:

1) Pop the whole cake of wax out and rub it on the pad....doesn't make a lot of sense to me as the cake of wax is larger than that darn opening.



2) Use a butter / putty knife to spread it on the pad. Troublesome and very slow but works.
