What makes a product able to be used in the sun?

My L5-S1 is killing me!
I'm kind of a noob but there are so many good products that are not recommended to be used in the sun, but all PB's stuff can be.

What makes PB's stuff so different in that way? Does it just stay wet significantly longer (in the hot sun)?

When I start to detail other peoples cars, they will probably always be outside. I would think for professional Mobile Detailers, they would not even consider using Menzerna, Zaino, Megs, etc......

What makes Poorboys so good in the sun is the ice cold beer (one per application). The longer I use it in the sun, the less I care.:lmfao :beat :doh

That's what I figured...... :)
But seriously, other companies I'm sure could chemically and/or marketing-wise sell their products as "use in the sun" products.
Is the PB's formula really so unique and secret or is it just that all other companies assume you'll be detailing under-roof?

I don't know how it's done, but don't stop doing it!

I love being able to polish/wax my truck in the sun, because I can see any flaws that need to be attended to before applying my wax. With Meg's I would go ahead and apply my wax after polishing in the shade, then the next day when the sun hits it I see a spot or a scratch that I should have worked on a bit more. :)

It's all about the quality and types of ingredients...also secrets:lmfao

 I think I had this conversation today with someone:phone::D

Hummm, maybe me :)

Using quality ingredients/materials is the best way to achieve the superior results many of us have obtained. From a professional aspect, being able to work in the sun is great!

Why Poorboys products can be used in the sun and others can't isn't important to me. What's iimportant is that they CAN! If I knew why I'd still have the same choices. It's clear that Poorboys has something in them that makes this possible and others don't.....so.....USE IT! :)

Well, i love the outdoors....but from experiencing the lbistering heat of the S. Florida sun....i beg to differ Nick!

I need some kind of portable, whole body air cooling unit or something. Doesnt sharper image make crazy stuff like that?

:)

Besides Poorboys, Clearkote products, Vanilla Moose, Carnuba Moose, etc. are also direct sun friendly.
