What locally available product for very shiny but not "wet"?

Use Turtle Wax ICE liquid polish... Your black car will look greasy, lol.

My black car gets a wet looking finish when I use this procedure:

- Wash and Rinse car well

- Wash car again with TW Liquid Claybar

- Wax with Meguires Gold Class Clear Coat

- Polish with TW Liquid Polish (several coats, the more coasts the wetter it looks)

Sometimes I will put a couple of TW Liquid polish on in the early evening and then get up early the next morning and put a few more coats on

That process could be greatly improved. You'd be amazed of the shine that would come from better products/methods.

I agree with this statement. Having started with ICE on my new car, it looked good - didn't last long - but I didn't care due its ease of use. What it lacked was depth. I since learned of other products on this forum and the depth of reflection I have achieved is far superior to ICE. I will say, once depth is achieved, ICE works at its best as a touch up. I still prefer the newer products for proper prep and sealing.

I only use my ICE on trim now... I bought it because I was stubborn. Wanted to give TW a last chance but that's it!
