What kind of discounts, if any, are you giving for...

1) Repeat clients?

2) Contract work (ie - certain number of services per month, etc.)?

3) Multiple vehicles?

Personally, I'd rather throw in an extra service than discount my prices, but I'm just curious what kinds of discounts you guys give.

Thanks!

I don't really give a discount to repeat clients, I do however knock about $10 off if they provide me with some good referrals to friends or family that turn out to be repeat customers as well.

Contract work really comes down to volume... you need to do the income per labor hour calculations for yourself on this one, each situation is gonna be unique.

Multiple vehicles... if all getting full details I usually knock off $25-$45 of the total

I usually upgrade to the next level of product. (ie better wax) If they bring me in a few cars back to back then I might give them a bundle package. Dealers of course get dealer pricing which is hard to do and make money at but they give volume over anything.

I knock 5 bucks off my basic package for people who sign up weekly or bi-weekly and offer a free wash and spray wax for someone who refers a full detail.

And the only reason i did that was to compete with the brothas that are going door to door with their dawn dish soap and bucket. I live in a small town where people either don't know any better or just don't care.

I offer no discount for repeat, referral or multi car. I tend to keep regular customers at old prices for some time after any price increase. Might be 6 months or a year. For the most part all I do is weekly, biweekly washes now and stay booked. I tend to do a lot of extras on my customers cars to keep them in a nicely detailed condition.
