The absoute best wax ,polish or sealant that gives the absolute wettest deepest shine with no regard for protection on a black car?

For black cars my vote goes to Blackfire & Pinnacle.

Has to be a nuba period! A glaze or cleaner and a nuba if your talking about two products. When you do show cars many people only use nubas because they want that banging shine with no worries about durabilty.

Try Pinnacle Souvran, CMW, EX, or Adam's Butter Wax.

I agree with JBM, #7 show car glaze. It will look like a sheet of black oil.

Given perfect prep, I too would say a glaze like #7 will look the best.



You say you've tried Pinnacle Souveran...that would probably be my second choice. Anything about it that you found lacking?



Also, though you mentioned "every Zymol", if you haven't tried their outrageously priced waxes, some have said they look mighty good.



Guess I'm just about what you weren't satisfied with out of all the ones you listed.

Those are some VERY high quality products, but even the best LSP will not reach its full potential without the proper prep work. The prep work is where the true depth comes from.



What is your process? Maybe that's the area to concentrate on...just a thought. :nixweiss

If you want look, and no interest in protection, a glaze is the way to go.



Prep will be key.

I never considered #7... I thought PS was supposed to be the best for black. I must say UPP was rediculously wet on the last detail of my black Mustang. I want PS as my next LSP for comparison... I guess #7 will have to go into the rotation now too

It should look wet b/4 you apply the glaze.

Thanks guys. I have tried just about everything including Zaino and the glazes, #7,mothers,Imperial hand glaze and one grand glazes. The Soveran is excellent ,I actually wiped my car down with the crysal mist and its great. I have a whole cabinet of waxes,glazes,polishes and any other gimik that has come out. Most of these products I have used just once. I saw an add for Shining monkey so I ordered the whole kit I should have it in a couple of days. When I change products I always do the correct prep work. like with the Menzerna its polish,glaze then FMJ, Zaino its Z5 then Z2 with P21s its polish then wax and with the sovvern its polish then wax.

I think i am a waxoholic, my wife thinks so she got me a license plate that says WAX-MAN.

I am in search of the perfect wet,shiny depth of shine!! I know the truth is out there.
