What is your Ultimate Microfiber Lineup?

Ditto on RagCompany/Pakshak bringing great towels on the market. Distribution of car care microfibers can be dicey and confusing so find a place that really has unique offerings different from everywhere else.

Just ordered a few from Rag Co. Pakshak was crazy expensive shipping. Rag Co no tax and free shipping over $30 order :-)

My two favorites are Dry Me A River and the plush Edgeless from Detailed Image. I haven't found a better Edgeless, including Rag Co Eagle. Although, the Eagle is good, just not as truly borderless as the DI towel.

As for silk or fabric banded towels, I've never found one that does it for me such that I've re-ordered the same towel twice. Some nice ones I have are DMT (Poorboys) and Kona Blue from ADS.

As as for my dream MF cabinet, it would have 50 Edgeless towels, 50 silk bordered 420s of some type, and maybe 30 Dry Me A River in all three sizes. I'd use the smallest Rivers as window towels. So far, I'm not a big fan of purpose-built glass cleaning towels. Nuff rambling!

I can't watch Matt's videos. They're way to long, and rambling.

For mf towels, buy a few staples (dry, polish, wax), see what you like/ don't like and build you stock up slowly.

Who is Matt??? Some type of towel guru??? Please link one of these long rambling videos.

Heres the towel one that started this tread:

and another 1:47:35 long ramble about his garage:

He just seems to wing them with zero attention to editing.

Sweet baby Jesus who would take the time to watch those. I only made it about 2 minutes into the first one and even less in the second

I thought the second one was going to have something to do with his garage build, but when I skipped ahead he seemed to just be sitting in the same chair talking about Dianetics or something....

I watched all three. I seriously was in a point of weakness. The three hours could have been edited to about 45 minutes and it would be good. His garage and car are killer. If I had the time and money I would love to have his garage. Being fairly a newbie he did help me understand a lot about detailing.

I like his vids--I just listen while I do something else--he doesn't present himself as anything other than a normal guy who likes to detail his personal vehicles. He's learning along the way just like the rest of us.

LOLOL...he's already learned what he needs the most...perhaps you missed the part at the end of the "these are the products I use" video where he says he "monetized" (whatever that means) his YouTube channel...and he made $40 in the first 6 days--or perhaps you missed the remark about wondering if there was some way for him to make money if the people watching bought the products he is recommending.

Heh heh....[Accumulator fantasizes about "monetizing" his online pontifications and getting a % on stuff he always recommends]...Eh, more power to the guy.

HA! More power to him then I guess :)
