What is your go-to car wash?

I love Gold Class. It does it for me most every time for all washing situations. I get 1.25 gallons for $7.88 at Costco.

Paint that is not very dirty but has a fresh coat of wax gets #62.

My special wash is Sonax. Kind of like a special occasion wine since I can't get it anymore. :p

My main soap is P21S. I also like 1Z Exclusiv a lot.

I use Zaino when doing more of a reconditioning (older, used cars) and need something with bite.

NXT is my go to wash, followed closely by GC.

I am not into buying expensive clear liquids that I use a lot of, yet anyways......

2.Groitâ€â„¢s Car Wash...

*This is one of the most lubricated wash solutions Iâ€â„¢ve ever used (even more so than Groitâ€â„¢s) now if they would only package it in gallon sizes?

Well *that* certainly got my attention!

My choice is Griot's and I buy it several gallons at a time.

NXT for mass market stuff. I'm always wondering does it really anti-static the dust away?

Lately, I am using Cherry Espuma. Cleans as well if not better then NXT, suds are great, slippery enough too...works very well in very hard water. Rinses clean and the chrome really shines.

(Their Hawaiian Shine is similiar, but it's just Cherry Espuma thinned out with some "silicone" for shine.) About a dollar more a gallon then a gallon of GC from Target.....;)

To strip I use a combo, z7 and dawn or palmolive. To maintain my sealant I like z7, but I don't think it matters that much so long as the wash has good lubricity and the right PH.

Hmmm, I've never heard of this, who makes it?

Longhorn Distributing in El Paso, Texas.

They claim they sent off a water sample to get this formula for our hard water and dusty climate. Seems good to me, thick suds, slippery, and sheets clean. Soap testing isn't my specialty but the WG Sealant + #26 Liquid finish on my black truck still looks good at three months. :nixweiss

I recently tried out NXT. Very nice. So now it looks like

QEW for the winter, or when I cannot do a bucket/ hose

wash, NXT when I can do the bucket/ hose wash, and PB

S&W for the light dust.

NXT , ( I still think the first version is different then the new stuff)

Gold Classic

TOL baby shampoo

NXT. Pinnacle, EO, GC and Mother's are my other choices but since NXT is just as readily available, I'd stick with it. Only issue is if old purplish NXT is different from new blue NXT. I just bought the blue one from Walmart.

no it isn't, same formula just different dye. they wanted it to be translucent blue to match the color of the nxt line.
