What is your favorite interior dressing?

Megs QID is great.

If you want that upmarket "refined" look then it has to be Wolfgang Vinyl & Rubber Protectant! Buff to a matt finish that is crisp and has distintion, it looks soooo good! It is a bit more work then wipe on and wipe away for the best results though.

Mark-V Qwik Dress. The stuff is fantastic, you can dillute it down to a really matte finish, and it coats very evenly.

Best Dressed from TOTL always impressed me. Diluted 4:1 and even more was totally matte on most interiors, would darken some. Would not streak like AA or 303 if diluted and would slowly fade away on tires, but still look clean.

OTC I would say Meg QID or #40 with 40 you need to buff it off aftter letting it sit a few minutes to get a nice matte finish
....I also prefer a factory-like (or matte) finish and 1Z CP is my "go to" product. I have tried Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer before and found it to be similar to 1Z in that aspect.

I have a bottle of Meg's QID which I use because I have it, but I am not too terribly thrilled with. Going to give adams detail spray a try for interior. Actually just read Adam's has a tendency of staining? Might have to think about using it for the interior.... My fav dressing is 303, it just leaves such a nice matte finish. For cleaning I like the 1Z plastik reiniger.

Why don't you like QID?

Whos to say that products likke 303 actually PROTECT the vinyl and plastics in our vehicles? Are there documents proving their sun protectiveness?

FWIW, I just picked up a bottle of 303, so I am not singling them out.

....browse around their website and read through the Tech Facts, FAQs, Testimonials & Recommended By (a list of manufacturers who recommend 303 for use on their products). I don't know what kind of independent publications/documents you will find discussing the UV inhibitors in 303 products but their are plenty of folks who will attest to it's performance/effectiveness. 303 has been popular in the boating community for years simply because it works.

TW Ice Total Interior Spray/Gel. Leaves a nice matte finish, and has a nice smell that is not over powering.

Not to sound like an *** here, but why do you dress an interior? If an interior is properly clean you shouldn't have to dress it.

I would imagine that in addition to a preferred sheen level, there is also a certain level of UV protection provided by most dressings. Just my .02 cents.

Dressing the interior is mainly to have some sort of UV protection. Have you ever seen a cracked and faded interior due to sun damage? It's not nice...

My take is that its mostly to clean and remove dust, whilst giving the look of new vinyl/plastic which has not dried out due to losing plasticisers and polymer scission.

The main trick is getting the soft look of new vinyl without excessive bling. Generally bling is more acceptable on soft vinyl (and rubber seals) than on hard plastic moldings. The main area that you do not want to get shiny is the upper dashboard, since that leads to glare in the windshield.
