What is this and how to get rid of it ?

used oxidation remover thatcame with it with an Randium orbital buffer from wal-mart.

alright, that's the problem.

If it is a thin haze on the paint, then it is a haze from an agressive compound. You need a finer polish.

I get that haze after using DUZ-all w/ my rotary. I have to come back with a polish to make the paint surface like crystal again.

Zaino is a sealant. What you need to take it off is a polish like Meguiar's #9 or even Perfect-It II. What kind of buffer was it and what kind of pad were you using? That could be part of the problem too.

If it is foggy and will not come out. you need to do the following

1. first compound the door using 3m perfect III compound. Make sure you are using a rotary. (if not sure how to use a rotary take to a pro)

2. polish

if the above does not work, try to wet sand the door. then repeat the above steps.

i really cant tell from the pix though

What clay system did you use? I don't know of a clay that comes with an oxidation remover...

I wonder if there's still the possibilty they could be some kind of paint damage similar to water marks, or maybe some kind of paint defect that causes paint to become clouded over?

it is the mothers system
Hmm, that's what I suspected. It's the tiny 4oz Mothers Cleaner Wax, right? It is not really an "oxidation remover" (which usually implies "strong, harsh stuff"), but just a regular cleaner wax that you can use almost every day. (Yeah it reportedly cleans better than other waxes, but that's another story.) Anyway, it doesn't have the ability to cause damage like this on it's own, so the problem is from something else or improper use of something.

Before you noticed the problem, you had only used Dawn, clay, and the little bottle of wax on the car, correct?

What are these "paint scrubber" and "cleaners" you tried that you mentioned in your first post?

Could you please describe what shape they're in? Are they like drips and runs, small spots, etc, etc.? I'm also having trouble seeing it.

If it looks foggy, only shows up in certain lighting, but is slick/smooth feeling like normal paint, I'm leaning towards either paint defect or chemical damage of some sort.... :nixweiss Anyone's free to argue against this of course.

Well, I wouldn't have the first clue what it is. But, in reading this forum it sounds like perhaps everyone is not on the same page. It sounds like some people are trying to determine what product you used that caused it (dawn wash, the oxidation remover that turned out to be a cleaner/wax, clay, or whatever). But to me, it sounded like you have had this problem since you've owned the car and that the clay, dawn, and cleaner/wax were all unsuccessful attempts to remove it. So, please clarify this. Which one is it? Thanks!

And just an aside, it will probably help everyone if you are as specific as possible in your first post. That will help some of the experts here diagnose your problem. Otherwise, they have to guess what kind of buffer you used and what sort of products you tried. From your first post, it sounded like you were Mr. Aggressive with a buffer and oxidation remover, but now we know it's a very low-speed random orbit buffer and some cleaner wax (actually, I thought you meant the oxidation remover came with the Wal-Mart buffer, and I was thinking "Oh my gosh!" as I imagined what sort of Turtle Wax rubbing compound type product would come free with a $20 buffer). It's no biggie, though. It will just help people to assist you. :wavey

I had the problem befor the dawn wash and all this stuff, that is what caused me to do this in the first place and the only other stuf i have used is meguiars.
