Summer is coming up California, and its REALLY hot.... and i gotta detail my wheels soon, so whats everyone using now to wax their wheels? i need some good protection from brake dust (my pads dust A LOT... 4 days, and my wheels are brown) that can take the 100 degree weather...

I use AIO topped with Collinite Insulator Wax.

The single most durable combo I have tried.

The Collinite is designed to withstand extreme heat. Here is the description:

This heavy duty wax was specially developed for use by electric power companies for protection against high voltage power failure, fires and explosions. It has been tested and proven in thousands of applications over the last 40 years. Collinite's Insulator Wax is easy to use, requires minimal buffing and lays down a protective coat safely.

The shine is awesome and cleanup is a 2 second wipe down with car wash soap and an MF.

I use EF Clear Pearl QD after each wash to maintain a nice sparkle.

I like AIO/SG. It gives the wheels a very hard, reflective shine that helps the look of them (I think) both at a stand still and moving.

Not to mention it is one of the most strongest sealants out there.

Clean-up is a joke. You could probably just hose them down and be set, but I'll do 1 pass with a soapy mitt and be all set.

I like to layer both the inside and outside of the wheels with SG to keep protection and gloss high. :D

I'm probably going to apply Mothers Clear Coat Wheel Polish for the first time tomorrow. I'll check in about it

:up

i have tried the Klasse twins and am very happy with the shine and how easily dirt and brake dust 'lift' off. i have also tried NXT and am not sure how they compare (different sets of wheels. the NXT covered wheels are a lot more able to hold dirt than the wheels the Klasse is on). but NXTseems to do well too.....
