What is the best...

Hi slvr-bullet,

I would first recommend the least abrasive produce like 3M SMR. You can do it by hand or machine. Are going to be using a oribal polisher like a PC or are you applying it by hand? 3M carries a fine line of products to cut down on imperfections on your paint. I use the 3M SMR on my silver car and have to say it is pretty good.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I'll be applying it by hand since I don't feel comfortable using any kind of equipment in the chance of screwing things up or worse, damaging something.

Other than 3M SMR is there any other products that are good?

Thanks

Hi slvr-bullet,

Meguiars also carries a consumer product called, "ScratchX" and they also have another professional product called "Swirl Remover 9". Both these Meguiars products you can apply by hand. But most people including myself like the 3M line, they tend to do a better job. 3M is a must in anyone's detail cabinet.

:D

Aloha,
