What is the best method of removing the applied product?

I think the question is a little bit vague. Remove which product?



Most people here remove wax and polish with Microfiber towels.
 
Sorry for being vague. I think you answered my question. You apply the desired product with the buffer, then take it off with a micro towel? A micro towel bonnet on a buffer or just a micro towel?



If the answer is a micro towel bonnet on a buffer, when do you worry about the residue?

What is the best method of removing the applied product [residue]?

After sufficient drying time do a quick swipe test with your finger. If no smearing or drag is evident, the product is ready to be removed

Removal: product residue can be removed with a 100% cotton cloth, a Microfiber cloth or a with a Porter-Cable random orbital polisher and a non-cutting type (Grey) foam pad
