What is best PH level cleaning with damp microfiber?

We installed a drinking water filter/osmosis system that controls the PH level in water. I often use just a damp rag for light cleaning/dusting of the interior for example. Is there a particular PH that would be best for cleaning? The machine has choices for 4.0, 4.5, 7.0 (neutral), 8.0, 8.5, 9.5, 10.0 (alkaline). I've been using 7.0, which is neutral, but wondering if acidic or alkaline would be better. We use 9.5 for drinking per the manufacturers recommendation.

Never heard of a RO filter that lets you pick PH. My RO filters water to about 7.5 PH, which i thought if all minerals were removed it would be 7 neutral.

Do you have a link for the unit?

I don't think it is an RO unit. It's probably an ionizer like this one. Link

This unit is similar to what we have. Ours is Korean -- very Korean -- as in there are no English letters on it, so I don't know the brand or have a link. I can't detect any difference in taste from 7.0 to 9.5. When you first start using it, they say to start with 9.0 for one week to let your body adjust, and then switch to 9.5. They recommend 10.0 for coffee and 7.0 for medicine. I don't really know too much about it, my wife bought it and I never heard their health benefits pitch. I think there's something to it though, we feel a little better after using it. The Korean unit was very expensive, I wouldn't have bought it in a million years without my wife being hyped on it, but I think there is some health value to it. Can't help but wonder if there is benefit in using a particular PH level for cleaning.

The people that sell Rainsoft water conditioners will demo how purified neutral ph water can out clean alkaline household cleaners like 409, etc.

Thanks Bunky, that was exactly the information I was looking for. I've only tried it a couple times and I haven't noticed any cleaning miracles using neutral PH, but at least I now know that the best setting.

Thanks,

Peter
