What is an equal to AIO

What other products are like AIO? Don't get me wrong, I love AIO and then topping it with UPP or SG, but is there other products that are like AIO?
 
I don't know if it is equal in protection abilities, but VM is a good alternative in cleaning abilities.
 
equal to aio? i wouldnt say pwc since it has carnauba in it, but rather pp, because it provides a great base for either pure sealants, or products with wax in them, just like aio. is pp a chemical polish also, or is that pwc? i always get that part mixed up
 
Pro Polish is a pure polish that leaves nothing behind so I would not = it to AIO - PwC does have carnuba in it but works just fine with sealants - I forgot about colorX also a great product.

Both AIO and PwC can be used as stand alones where PP would not -
 
In fact if you top it with a good sealant, I'm not sure what the advantage of AIO is over ColorX? (Assuming paint is properly prepped).
 
The short answer to this question is: Nothing compares to AIO.

The long answer is that it really depends what you are topping it with and how you are applying it. PWC is a GREAT polish. Great cleaning properties. There is no doubt. I have used it and love the look. I was however disappointed with the durability of EX-P when I used it on top of PWC. On the other hand, I found that I got, or appeared to have gotten, better durability from EX-P when I used Klasse AIO as a base. My feeling is that PWC is not an appropriate base for a sealant because of the Carnauba in it.

If you were to top PWC with a carauba, I dont think you would have bonding issues.

Now, as for a true all in one product, I doubt if PWC would match up to Klasse AIO for the simple fact that the protective properties in Klasse AIO come from an acrylic resin as opposed to Carnauba in PWC.

I have not used many other "AIO" products or products that claim to be so but that is my 2 pennys.

Let me say again though I really do like PWC and it has a place on my shelf. Just not as a base for a sealant. I am not picking on it. Its just another "AIO" product that I have had experience with.

Hands down I prefer Klasse AIO though

true... i was caught up on the fact that aio didnt have wax, while pwc did, that i forgot that the pp doesnt leave behind any protection

Meguiar's Medallion premium Paint Cleaner is one of my favorite paint cleaners. AIO is just as its name describes, a one step product. It does leave behind an acrylic for protection. It is not solely a paint cleaner. Cleaning just happens to be one of the things it excels at. :)
 
4* UPC is a close second and leaves behind a small amount of the same sealant used in UPP. I still feel that AIO chemically cleans better though. (stuff like tar residue and road oils)

AutoGlym's Super Resin Polish is similar in result to AIO. It's thicker, more of a cream, with sort of a leather conditioner smell vs the thin liquid and rotten milk smell of Klasse products (milder in AIO than SG). But the application is similar and the result is very similar. Either one can be cheaper by the ounce depending on who's got it on sale, but the AutoGlym comes in a smaller 325 mL bottle.
 
I used to think Klasse AIO was the best until I recently tried Menzerna's Full Molecular Jacket (FMJ). It goes on just as easy, if not easier than AIO, and you can wipe it right off just like AIO. The slickness it leaves behind blows AIO away and it's just as shiny. I use it on my Ferrari 360 Modena, and I'm very happy with it so you know I think very highly of it.

Is the FMJ a cleaner/polish?
For some reason I thought it was a sealant with no cleaning or polishing capabilities. AIO's cleaning and polishing without staining black trim has made it one of my favorite products. The FMJ price makes my AIO look like a bargain.:)

I don't think FMJ is a cleaner, and it definitely is NOT a polish. I don't think AIO is in anyway considered a polish either. Polishes have abrasive qualities neither FMJ or AIO are abrasive in anyway. I do know that AIO is considered a "Cleaner" but at the same time I don't know what it's supposed to be cleaning off. When applying either FMJ or AIO to my cars they're always already totally clean and prepped for waxing, not sure what the AIO would claim to be cleaning off. I've been using AIO topped with Natty's on my M3, and the results are great. Both cars look extremely deep and shiny to me, but FMJ is just easier for me to put on and take off, and it has absolutely superior slickness, I really love the slickness. I've now also started using Optimum Car Wax (spray wax) as a topper over those.

FMJ definitely isn't cheap, but a little goes a long way.
