What is a good light to get to check and correct paint, what freq, and what type of

I have both the one SteveAZ posted (well, *very* similar, also from Sears) and an old cheapie that I got for next to nothing. Even though the Craftsman one throws more light I end up using both of them pretty much interchangably. It's not like I can't see stuff if I use the weaker, cheaper model.

But the Craftsman one is a joy to use whereas the cheapie just, uhm, does the job when it's not falling apart :o I'm always surprised that I still use the cheapie so much, I'd figured I'd retire it when I got the better one :nixweiss

That one seems more or less similar to the one I got from Home Depot. Mine's the typical yellow color though. It's not extremely fancy but does the job well. If it fails, I'll probably simply replace it with the Craftsman although I suspect I'll wind up being in the same boat as Accumulator. Can't have too many 1000 watt halogen stands. :D
