What has happened to Einszett Products?

Hello All,

It appears as if Einszett products have kind of gone under the radar, so to speak. When I got serious about detailing a couple of years ago I really got to like many of their products, and stocked up on the ones I liked to cut down on shipping up here to Alaska. Now I am running low and the dealers who used to tout their products dont carry them any more (Classic Motoring, Autopia, etc).

Is there a problem with the Einszett line, or some other reason people have gone away from their products?

I can find them, but not from the dealers I would prefer to deal with.

Comments?

No, it wasn't VOC issues. 1z changed the way they were marketing their products. Most of the old distributors (including ACC), were cut off, in favor of direct sales and a few brick-&-mortar stores and internet stores, as you probably found at the 1z website (http://www.1z-usa.com).

I still really like the 1Z products, but since most of the places I shop don't carry them anymore, I've been trying to replace all the 1Z products that I've used with something else. I didn't know Ranney was carrying 1Z products; now I know where to get more Cockpit Premium when I run out (haven't found anything I like anywhere near as much as that stuff).

I feel lucky that I stocked up...I luv their products but they have become "challenging" to purchase which isn't going to help the 1Z cause.

The whole thing seemed ridiculous when they did it (I think it was about a year ago). I was trying to buy some Gummipflege at the time, and it was torture, there were almost no choices. I'm not really sure why places like ACC, Detailer's Paradise, etc. would not fit in with 1z's marketing plans, unless they weren't moving enough product.

Thanks to all for the comments.

Like many I love Cockpit Premium and several other 1Z products and dont want to change. I will look at the resources listed.

Thanks again

I've been picking up 1Z products from Pakshak. However, I only really use their Cockpit Premium anymore. I tried their shampoo's, both the Perls and Exclusiv Glanz, and their Metallic Polish/Wax and Glanz Wax. I actually ended up giving those away to a friend who bought a brand new 325 since I already have a ton of other stuff that serve the same purpose and that I like better or perform the same but are less costly. 1Z stuff can get quite pricey.

same here, really like the product line, hate the shipping costs.

I ordered from openroadmotoring.com and it arrived a day later to New York.

Their leather cleaner is my favorite on the market and Tierfoaijfodjfrlel is the only prouct I use on my red dash that everyone says still looks brand new. I stoped using Tieorpfrdklrl on the tires because its too expensive for that, so I use Michelin's Tire Spray which you can get at Pep Boys.
