What happened to Zaino?

Never tried Zaino, and most likely, never will. After trying so many products over the years, I have finally found what works for me and what is cost effective. I would never bash on a product without trying it. What ever products work well for any given person is great; to each is own.

z06, I prefer the ease of application of p21s as opposed to souveran. I also found it to be a little more durable.

This is true, the only thing I have found less durable than souv is NB.

Yeah, maybe so, but that won't stop me from bring out nb damn near every time i work on jet black, it's great and affordable and absolutely wet. Just make sure your clients know they need you to re-apply accordingly.

What is NB?

Like everyone else i have a garage full of stuff ill never get to use up, i play with this or that, but i always end up just slapping some z2p down and maintain it with z8.

Zaino doesnt get talked about much because people are doing other things besides "waxing" their vehicles.

I used all of Zaino line of products except the leather in a bottle thing.

I given it all away to a family member since he bought a new car,

I will never buy it again though for my own reasons of course one of which is water etching :sadwavey:

Anyone know a place for Z7 in a gallon container?, I am serious! good stuff thats about it :D

I think Duragloss 901 is pretty comparible to Z7-maybe a touch thicker in the bottle. Suds like crazy!

I find that 901 is harsher and required more product as compared to Z7. With Z7 1 oz. is plenty for 2.5 gallons whereas with 90 I have to use almost 3 oz. for 2.5 gallons. I love both washes though, almost through my 2nd gallon of 901.

:nixweiss I usually mixed an ounce into 6 quarts of water and had more than enough suds with 901.

+1

I love Z7. It really rocks when applied by a foam cannon. It has very good stick/dwell time. It also has great foam and lubrication. It's cleaning ability isn't the best I've seen, but it is also completely LSP safe. Definitely one of my favorite soaps. The price for the relatively small bottle is pretty steep, though. Hopefully the gallon jugs will be more reasonable.

I also still use Zaino's abrasive glass cleaner, tire product, clay, leather cleaner, leather conditioner, AIO, Z6, Z8, and occasionally ZPC. I'm working my way through my Z3, Z5 and ZFX on customer cars. Once they're gone, they'll be replaced with UPGP.

I think another reason that there are so many problems about threads involving this particular line of products, is that it has that amazing following. But if someone on these forums says "I dont care for FMJ, or ultima, or optimum, or PS", it is what it is. But if someone says they dont care for Zaino, it becomes an argument. I applaud the Zaino following and am very happy people found the product that works best for them. Others found things that work a little better. Why it has to be an argument, I will never understand. It is just wax.

Agreed 100%, 901 is good but otc good.

I use Zaino all the time on the exterior paint and on my leather seats. I think it is one of the best product lines out there.

Zaino is a great product (There I said it), and I use it on most of my vehicles. But lest us not forget that there is a whole other world out there. The true detailer tries many different products. This week I am going to use Mezerma FMJ on a customer car, because they read a lot on it and I think that they will love the results. If Zaino was the end-all of products why would there be so many of them. Have an open mind. With that said, I am liking Optimum more and more as I use their products, but I would have never had the opportunity to use it if I was so closed minded about Zaino.

I also belive that Zaino has earned it's place within these forums as a repectable product. Why bring up something that you know is good.

In short, Zanio-holics, have an open mind, what can it hurt. Now let me wipe down this car with polycharged FK1 425. :grinno:

Take care all.
