What happened to Show Car Detailing & Richard Lin?

OK, 1st post in a few years, hope that I am not violating any forum rules by asking about a shop - person that may or may not have been a supporting supplier.

Anybody have a handle or know what happened to Richard Lin of Show Car Detailing in Anaheim?
 
he's still around and working on his products, if you go to showcardetailing.com you'll see what the latest is...
 
OK, I don't understand how shilling can apply to a detailing business, but I am not doubting anybody's word about it. Specifically what did he do wrong.

And I have been searching on the search modes for quite some time, and he is no where to be seen. all of the hot-links to his site or any of his sites are deleted. Including Showcardetailing. It won't open up either. Computer comes back with "Can't be located". Also, I don't show him posting on any sites as either OctaneGuy or under Richard Lin for quite some time.
 
try visiting his site again, it works now and may have been down for a little while do to site overhaul...

Hi Gary! I'm glad you posted this thread. I've been trying to call you and have been unsuccessful. The first time you called me I was still at the airport returning from my trip from overseas, and I called you about 20 times and each time the phone was busy. I tried from my cell phone and office phone, and same thing. Anyways, I'm definitely still in business. You can always find me on Facebook under "ShowCarDetailing". Right now at this moment, I'm in Jacksonville Florida working on a clients car. I arrived this morning and will be here until Saturday.
