What ever happened to OCW/Optimum rave

Poliseal + Optiseal = Perfect Detailer's Setup. Use OCW within the Hour of Opti Seal to take any smudges/streaks.

Not to metion how seriously wet it looks! Once your corrective polishing is done, I have yet to fine a faster way to do the final polish and seal than OPS/OS.

Now Optimum included me as a beta tester and a batch of the OCW II is sitting here on my desk. After trying it a few times, I can say that all the mentioned "problems" were issued. It looks wetter than the original, more hydrophobic, significantly slicker and about as easy to apply. I need more experience with it to tell how it looks on an unprepped/poorly prepped surface (to see the immediacy of the look), but on Menzerna PO85RE5-, Poli-Seal-, Scholl Concepts S40-prepped finishes it looks excellent. Initial slickness & appearance is also outstanding and after curing it will be even better.

Its beading characteritics is also improved. It produces wonderful little pearls now, with highly optimized contact angles. I'll experiment a lot more to find out more on its compatibility, layerability, cooperation with machines and of course, durability.

Scottwax is a beta tester too, so he can chime in with his experiences as well.

I have to agree with your observations, although I find the new version even easier to apply than the old one. Seems to buff off my quickly. Applying it over a 3 week old application of Souveran on a black Z06 (driven once, had an ONR wash just prior to OCWII) noticably added wetness and maintained the 3D liquid look of Souveran. It definitely improves on the already carnauba like appearance of the original version.

Hopefully, the new version will be out soon, I only got a 4 oz sample and I am almost out. :nervous2:
