Having detailed cars for a while, but being new to this forum, I couldn't help but notice that there is very little mention of Blackfire or Pinnacle Souveran being used (two products that I thought would be very popular among clean-car freaks). Is it simply a case of there being newer, better stuff out there?
What ever happened to Blackfire and Souveran?

Try a SEARCH. They are mentioned thousands of times.
Klasse/S100 (aka P21S) seems to be the big synthetic/carnuba combo right now.
Blackfire II is used by members on this board and some also use Souveran. I like Souveran, but for $15 at my local Harley dealer, I can get S100 which I personally think is better on everything except maybe black, and even there, it is very close.

Check the Product Review Archive. Most of the comparisons down there deal with Souveran or Blackfire. A lot of them are Zaino and Klasse reviews but back in the day the Blitz vs Souveran debate was pretty hot.

BF II and Souveran are very popular. In my book ( limited experience ) BF II is the second best sealant right now ( Poorboy's EX #1) and Souveran is tied for first with P21S/S100.
Do a "search" these items are mentioned quite often.
