I've got a Bean's travel series one now with an Okuma reel (love the reel), and I'm thinking I might move up to a St. Croix in the rod.



Tell him to pick up some of the new scented bait with the salt on it - I like "Yums" brand, they're like shooting fish in a barrel. Honestly I think the bait is more important than the rod, here's one I caught with a borrowed wal-mart rod and Yums. Can't beat the feel of a nice rod though.

I am trying to ask for a new Makita rotary, and a bunch of International Harvester collectors items. I recently had a visit with the IH farm tractor I used to ride with my grandpa, and it got me back in the spirit of International Harvester stuff.
 
just received my xmas from the ole lady, she let me order a new 7424 HD, edge 2000 pad kit and some more ssr1,ssr2.... but cant have it till dec 25th...
 
Honestly cant really think of anything I need and have no clue what to tell my parents to get me. I'll just tell them to save their money until RDF is released...then I'll tell them to buy shares in RDF haha :grinno:
 
Even though I've decided I no longer believe in gift giving around the holidays (seriously), I've been needing some new shoes. My current pair sometimes squeak with every step... I have a feeling there is structural failure to come with the sole of the shoe.



Other than that, a PC would be nice.
