what does EVERYONE want for Christmas this year?

Peace on earth, goodwill towards humankind, an end to hunger and a cure for AIDS would be nice.

I’d settle for enough time to paint my garage and hang the air hose reel I bought last year.

PC.

Everyone to be healthy and happy and make new friend's....and be debt free someday.............:usa

Haha, I agree with you guys about xmas being twisted by the corporate world. Im definitely just looking forward to helping my dad out at work, getting my hands dirty and catching up with my friends(being 10 hrs from home has made me miss the little things).

My health insurance back :o

End of December I get dropped from my father's plan and from January-April I'm student teaching full time and taking classes, so I can't work. Needless to say I'm really going to be bumming it.

2007 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 4x4 Cummins Turbodiesel.

But since that's not gonna happen, I'm not too worried about it. I'm more of a "it's the thought that counts" type of person now.

Nothing, just to spend time with family and friends.

I just got married so I'm broke. I told my wife the only ice she will be getting from me for a while will be in her drinks.

Stuff I want for Christmas:

Simple stuff (money can buy):

Window replaced in my street rod

Power windows repaired in my street rod

Air conditioning fixed in my street rod

Simple stuff (money can't buy):

An infant grandson's smile - he gives 'em away

Kind words from a friend

A bit of time to count my blessings and give thanks for them

Hard stuff:

Cures for AIDS and Cancer

End to violence here and abroad

Eliminate my own bad habits

Nothing :)

I guess I'm in the minority, but I don't like the whole corporate exploitation of Christmas that's been happening for decades. I feel most people are better than that and can rise above it.

To me, Christmas is about family and/or friends getting together and just being together in love. I mean, presents are fine or whatever... but expensive presents are unnecessary.

Personally, I don't believe in presents at all during Christmas. Just being together is enough.

I think kids should get presents up to a certain age... but then it shouldn't be such a big deal.

Again, I guess I am in the minority. Sorry to take your thread off-topic :)

Well, actually, there are a few things that I guess I want, but they are things that cannot be bought with money.
Bravo and amen brother I feel the same way. Only thing detailing wise I want is a Hitachi rotary and if I get it for Xmas I cant use it until May anyways so no point in getting it now!
