What do you use

your daughter is getting married on Saturday and you borrowed a 3yr old Lincoln Towncar to drive your daughter and bridesmaids to church You picked the car up on friday afternoon The color of the car is dark green What can you use to shine up the car and make it look good for the wedding

A Lincoln you say? :D

Since you are only going to have this for a short time I would not worry about an extensive detail job. Being honest, I would probably just use Parts store products.

Here is what I would do.

1. Wash. If you have car shampoo use that, if you don't just use Dawn.

2. Glaze. Get a bottle of Meguiars #7 Show Car glaze. Apply that.

3. Meguiars #26 Paste Wax.

That will give you nice results for your daughters wedding, and those products can be purchased at your local Autozone. You can also pick up a cheap bottle of Quick Detailer and wipe the entire car down before you head for the church.

Good Luck!

Wouldn't this be a good time for Mother's Cleaner Wax? One step, readily available, economical, easy to use, would look great.
