What do you use to polish plastic "chrome"?

I use any cleaner wax successfully. The cleaners chemically remove contaminants without damaging the fragile chrome finish, and the wax protects and brightens the chrome.

Vanilla Moose is supposedly great for that , but I haven't worked with it yet .

I do a detail tomorrow though and will be using it for teh 1st time

You mean like the chrome used on logos and grilles? I've never had a problem using regular polishes, but I would avoid any polish that has a noticable grittiness to it.

I don't use anything more abrasive than AIO/VM and I really only use AIO if I'm topping with SG. Since you can't really "abrasively polish" the chrome coating, I too prefer chemical cleaners.
