What Do you use to DRY?

Guys, I have a old waffle weave 16x24 I picked up a while back. Whats everyone using now to dry. I actually prefer one of the general MF I got from Sams. It doesn't seem to be scratching and it absorbs a lot. I have to ring it out per panel but its nothing like trying to do it to that huge ww towel. If you can point me in the correct direction. ALso Im looking to pick up some MF to remove polish and apply QD with. As always the cheaper the better.. LAMO
 
I have several large WW towels but I also have large MF towels and I prefer those over the WW.
My large MF towels do a better job of drying than the WW.

If I'm using something like ONR, i'll use one of the larger, more plush MF. If I'm doing a full wash, the Waffle Weaves do a great job, especially if I've used the flooding technique while rinsing.
 
Flood rinse.

Blot with waffle weave type towel.

Finish dry with a large blue short/mid-nap MF towel using some sort of QD as a drying aide.
 
When I'm at home I,
Flood rinse, blow water out of cracks and crevices with my blower or air hose, then finish with my microfiber. Walmart has a really big and decently plush towel that I like using..(Atleast my local one does.)

When I'm out mobile, I usually do the same If I'm doing a regular wash. I have been starting to do waterless washes here lately! Love it!
 
I have been using a Metro Master Blaster with a ww towel dampened with a waterless wash for a wipe down.

If not using the blower, I will use a Mothers foam core waffle weave with a second towel to tidy it up. My favorite ww's are from PakShak (feel nice) but use more than one brand (PB, PAC) since they all work more or less.
 
After a sheet rinse, there is very little if any water left on my cars.

I use Lucas Speed Wax and wipe down with a waffle weave towel.
 
PP waffle weave and Sg as drying agent.
Spray face of towel, then 1 or 2 sprays per panel then dry.

I wipe with this technique. Never any problems.
 
After flood rinsing the vehicle, I will either use my Poorboy's waffle weave, Meguiar's Water Magnet waffle weave or a Cobra Guzzler HD waffle weave towel.

I generally use green microfiber towel to dry my car. I use this 6.75 Sq. Ft towel not only for dry but also used for general cleaning, dusting my car. I have never met with any scratching while using this towel. I found that it is highly absorbent and durable.
 
Master Blaster. All other options are not as much fun. Plus you don't have to touch the paint with anything thus lowering the possibility of swirls.
 
I use a 200 MPH leaf blower (neighbors love this-LOL-NOT).

then a plush MF. I have tried WW and don't love them. I have 2 new DD wW that I have not tried yet but perhaps I will.
 
I love the absorber if i know the condition of the paint. It flat out works.
I generally use a large MF drying towel
I had a large Guzzler until my old roommate decided to use some red turtle wax for his car and use my LARGE guzzler towel to apply it. :mad:

I also use this mini leaf blower :

Is GREAT for cars like corvettes and camaro's where it always seems that water hides in all the nooks and crannys and seals. Also great for engines
 
I have that same blower. Does your nozzle stay on? Mine wobbles then blows off. I thought I'd save money when the Sidekick was borrowed and never returned:(
