What do you think about S100 Wax?

I bought this at the local Harley shop and absolutely love it for the $15.00 price tag, it seems to last along time on a vehicle. What do others think of it and what else are you using that has a nice shine and durability?

it used to be the same as the p21s paste wax, just...half the price. I still have a jar from 5 years ago that i use every now and then. easy on, easy off, great shine!

I have the P21 Wax, its about $30 a tub and I love it, it looks better than Souveran on my red Corvette. This is supposed to be almost identical to the S100 you have, most can not tell the difference. It's definitely a winner in my book!
 
I agree that for the price, S100 is hard to beat in the looks department. If you really want to boost the durability though, try Chris' (eshine) idea of melting it with Megs #16 or Collinite (476 or 915). I mix 2 parts #16 (or 915 for dark colors) to one part S100. Just heat to the melting point on the stove, mix and cool at room temperature. You end up with the best of both worlds, looks and durability. (And the total cost is reasonable too)

Just a heads up...



I would recommend a double boiler type method for melting wax. If anyone's going to melt waxes down. Take a pan, fill with a few inches of water. Take a glass measuring cup, (pyrex) or something similar. Then put wax in glass cup and place in water.



It won't take long until the wax is melting down. Stir the mix along the way. This is how I made a Pinnacle Souveran speed stick last night. lol Turned out great.
