what do you need in a web site?

I am considering building a web-based system to make it easy for detailers of all sizes to have their own site and offer all kinds of web-based services.

What is important to you to have on your website? Examples might include forms to set an appointment, upload pictures of past cars I have done or even your schedule of appointments.

Where ever your imagination wonders, what are your wishes for the perfect website for your detialing company?

As a matter of appreciation, anyone who replies with ideas and will help beta test the site, will be offered a discount if/when this service becomes available.

Many thanks or your help!

My web site is in the works right now. Temp one in sig. Ill have a package/price page, gallery page, before and after page. That should pretty much do it. its not like you can detail over the net so it doesnt have to be that comprehensive. contact info phone/email.

Carguy,

thanks again for the comments on my site. Much appreciated.

The only thing I can really think of is forms. Forms to setup appointments, a questionnaire about the cars general shape/condition, and any specific problem areas they're concerned with, a post detail feedback survey, and things like that.

This, of course is in addition to a basic website. For someone just starting out, the website should at least have contact info, services offered, and a photo area to show off their work...

blackntan - thanks for the ideas. Also trying to see if this idea is worth pursuing. I've started other business ideas without seeing if the market is there beforehand and it usually doesn't work out so I've learned to ask first.

Thanks again! Let me know if you need any other help/feedback.
