If we didn't carry so much junk, we could drive smaller vehicles. Heck, we might even be able to get by with one less car.:D

In addition to the usual, I carry several LED flashlights (yes more than one), a utility knife, rope, and plastic bags. After looking at this list, sounds like all the makings of a kidnapping. JK. I've been stuck on the side of the road enough times (unfortunately) to know first hand that a good flash light is invaluable. Try running down the I5 with a pen light, looking for a telephone. The rope and knife are for when you buy something too big at home depot. And, anyone with kids knows that plastic bags are a must for all of the messes that you need to clean up on the road.

I don't like leaving things in my car for very long.

However, I'll usually leave the house with a small bottle of Spray & Wipe, AutoMagic #65, and a QD like Spray & Gloss or UGE.

Some Change, two pens, a small notebook, and a few microfibers.

Depends on where I am going really; but nothing stays in the car for long....

I keep very little in my car. I may have a small travel kit of towels, S&W and Quik Shine. I even bought a new sunvisor from SLP with Homelink built-in so I wouldn't need to keep the garage door opener in the car too.
