What do you guys use as windshield washer fluid..

Whatever Walmart happens to stock.

I'm not realy interested in those hi-cost, seemingly gimmicky washer fluids some manufacturers are selling. I'd be willing to try something new, if suggested by another member here, and if it's readily available.:up

I'm also going to add a small amount of rubbing alcohol to my washer fluid to see what it does, as well as how it performs this winter using this new concoction... wish me luck!

i have always used alcohol. but, now i know that alcohol and other solvents remove zaino and other sealants/waxes. i stopped using the sprayer for this reason. when i pull over somewhere i clean the glass by hand. i hope someone has an answer that works.

I do this too. (Haven't used nozzles in months.)

I've always meant to ask if windshield washer fluid will strip everything off, but I keep forgetting. The answer should be "yes" right? Because rubbing alcohol will strip Klasse/Zaino, shouldn't this also be just as harsh? :nixweiss

I use whatever is on sale, but I try to stock on the kind that has Rain-X included in the fluid when it is on sale.

I have a vert' so Im not too concerned with washer fluid removing the non-existant wax on my roof. ;)... Usually it just flies up over the car or dribbles across the side windows then flies off!
