Well this is my order for protecting my wheels.....Wash of course with a heavy duty soap like double the amount of meguiars gold class or dawn.......zaino z1 lok.....zaino z2(2or3 coats). Just wanting to know what you guys/gals thought.
 
That should work great, but I'd probably wash them with a wheel cleaner instead of the Dawn and I'd definetely clay them. In fact, I'd pull them off the car and really do them right, including the backs (but then I'm pretty extreme about my wheels).



The Z should be just the ticket for wheels :xyxthumbs
 
oh of course im deffinitly going to pull them off the car that way I can get the wheel wells at the same time.

For stubborn stuff, I've used wheel cleaner/EFHI as the clay lube. Sorta dissolves the clay, but the combo still worked well.
