What do you guys do about your backs?

I found that besides the daily fitness center I can do quite a bit at home if the weather is too bad to go out. You don't really need to spend a lot of money on high tech gear to get results either. A solid weight bench and weights are not very costly. An inexpensive exercise ball is surprisingly good as well as cheap. You can combine these with light weights too.

Choosing And Using An Exercise Ball

I have been doing this for over 23 years mobile, and for the most part I have been back pain free......Good diet, plenty of rest and lots of fluids. Try using your legs more often instead of bending over, squats help alot!!

A great Jacuzzi really helps as well!

I'm a chiropractor and I also like to detail my cars. What I do at the office helps with most of what you guys are talking about. Keeping your joints healthy through regular adjustments plus exercise and keeping slim can keep your back younger for doing detail work.

Some good advice here, i would definitely say stretch out those hamstrings, mine are terrible and im not much older than you, 24, also joint health, i believe glucosamine tablets will promote joint health, this may not be a bad idea either..

In our shops all cars get put on scissor lifts, a must have for sure. For mobile work we rely on Racatac's , these wonderfull little inventions keep you low, and in proper posture, plus they look cool.
