I polished my vw about a week ago (i dont think i did it long enough since i did not know vw paint was hard to work with) and i was using Sonus SFX-1 and AIO. I switched between them ont he same pad and it created ALOT of dust that covered the entire car. What do you guys or girls use to remove it? I think when i removed it without a lubricant it created some scratched on the CC.

P.S. I was using Sonus SFX-1 cause i had really BAD water etching. It is possible to still see where the water etched into the clear coat.

Welcome Vwgti to Autopia. To remove dust just wash it or use a leaf blower. I'm not sure what you are talking about when you say you got scratches removing it with out a lubricant  Don't use more than one product with each pad. You may need to follow SFX-1 with SFX-2 to bring out the shine. What pads are you using? You may need a cutting pad to clear up the paint followed by a polishing pad with a mild polish.

I was using SOnus SFX-1 white pad on both products. WHen i turned it up on speed 6 and after abotu 10 seconds it would start to dry up and little balls of polish fly off on the car and dry up. It sounds really wierd i know. I didnt follow it up with sfx-2, should i? I will snap a picture of the car tommorow and get an opinion if i should have went to a finer polish after.

If SFX-1 with a polishing pad does the job then no need for the cutting pad. I would follow SFX-1 with 2 if you have it because you will probably see an improvement. I've had polish ball up on me in the past, can't remember why but probably not enough polish. When you start with a dry pad prime it with a little QD first then one circle around the out side of the pad. After that you only need one or two dime size drops from that point on. I'm not familiar with SFX polishes but this is a good starting point.
