Applied the first coat of wax (ever) to my 2017 corvette. Used Pinnacle Souveran for the first time too. Tried to "clay" using nanoskin but I couldn`t really tell if it was doing any good. Since it`s a new car (since last Sep) I imagine there isn`t much for the nanoskin to take off. The surface was incredibly smooth.

As for the Souveran, it went on and off really easy, like the P21S I`m used to. My only complaint, if it can be considered one, is that in my low-light garage, I couldn`t tell if I was getting wax on the entire panel. The wax goes on so clear that I just couldn`t tell how I was doing. So I ended up using way too much product than I probably needed to. I have the $30 sample size and must have used 1/3 of the container. Car looks great though. Like candy... If I get it out today I`ll snap a pic. It was raining yesterday and I didn`t want to get the car dirty just to drive it out of the garage for a picture

Don`t be so sure that there wasn`t much to take off. This is off a 1 day old bmw.

And don`t forget to do a baggie test. What can feel as slick as Rick when you caress the paint with your fingers can be like a 5 o`clock shadow with the baggie test.

Cleaned the Highlander, did a review of Gyeon Bug and Grime Remover ...

...and then became disappointed after I checked on the status of my silica sprays.

Which silica spray did you apply? My truck has Mckee`s Hydro Blue and my wife`s Durango has Adams guard and gloss

Did a rinseless on my Accord. Layered Blue Velvet and Purple Haze pro. Haven`t used actual wax in a while and this is a fun combo.

A friend`s car: 2006 Mini Cooper S. Cleaning makes the Chili Red pop! Washed and coated with HydrO2. Tires coated with McKee`s Tire Gloss. Plastic trim coated with McKee`s Trim Restorer.

Finally got around to doing my spring cleaning on the Model S. This included mounting my summer wheels.

Used Gyeon Iron to do a but of decontamination. Hosed it down and then did a 2BW with Gyeon Bathe+. During the rinse, I refreshed the coating with McKee`s Hydro Blue. Got rid of a couple of swirls using my Rupes Mini with CarPro gloss pads and Essence Plus. Finally, restored the trim (kind of neglected it for two years since putting on DLUX) with McKee`s trim restorer. Cleaned the calipers with N914 and used some CG Black on Black for the undercarriage.

I did a Uber rinseless wash to get the pollen off the paint. It did seem to drag a bit more than last time and I kept the towels very wet.

Today`s project: a rolling garden :)

After. A bit better. Not perfect by any means. Needs a lot of work. Also removed a bunch of tree sap that has permanently stained the paint.

I did a quick polish on my moms old Maxima (she bought a new Murano), shes giving it to her sister and wanted it to look great when she gave it to her. Did a few spot treatments with M105 and polished the whole car with M205 (I did it very rushed in about 2 1/2 hours my farther was rushing me as he wanted to head home from work with the car). It came out pretty good (they all thought it was perfect) but up close I can see some section passes left me with some haze and some were nice and inky black, from 10 feet it looks perfect from 5 feet 95% perfect and from 1 foot Autopians can see my process still needs perfecting on black paint. I am not sure if its product/pad/technique but something is still off some passes still leave me with hazing. I put a coat of PoorBoy`s Natty`s Black on it, works so nice on black cars.

Aslo I took our little shop truck home (2011 Toyota Tacoma regular cab with 206K miles on it) because my Tundra is in getting the clutch fan and fan housing replaced. Tacoma was disgusting inside so when I got home I spent an hour cleaning out the inside. Vacuumed and wiped down with Meg`s quick interior then treated all the interior plastics and dash with 303 protectant. Washed the weather tech mats 2 times with Megs non acidic tire cleaner (found that it works well on trashed weather tech mats) and the looked good as new.
