I have been researching spray coatings like Mckee`s 37 Blue and iron remover. I forgot I have a bottle of 3D BDX. So I gave a good dowsing to the very rear lower fender right side of my truck bed. The opposite side was sprayed with Dub. Very little iron dissolving with the BDX. So either the BDX is not working or I have very little iron deposits due to weekly detailing. The Dub did nothing but stay green. After a thorough rinse, both sides were treated to a layer of PNS.
Has anyone compared Nanoskin iron remover to Mckee`s 37 iron remover? The Nanoskin is cheaper for same size bottle. Thank you for your input.

I have thought about trying out the Nanoskin Iron Remover too. I do however have a brand new bottle of Mckee`s Iron Remover and I still have about a 1/4 bottle left of BDX. I can compare the two tomorrow morning if I get the chance. Or maybe I will wait and get the Nanoskin too and compare them all.

If you do a comparison, I am interested in your findings

Pour a bottle of coke on it, come back in 45 minutes.

When this happens to a 7year old battery that`s a 6 year battery might as well change it anyways and battery cleaner worked a lot faster and better than coke does

From start to finish, I spent three hours on the hood this morning (5:30am-8:30am), hood rinse-less washed with N914, descaled with Optimum Mineral Deposit Remover, washed with N914 again. Then hit the hood with the rest of my Carpro Eraser, and began to set about polishing. My car is DD with 152K on the clock, I am not chasing perfection, but I am chasing *swirl* free. First polishing stage got me to swirl free, second polishing stage was Essence on a Green LC CCS, paint looked pretty good and was more vibrant than FK1000P. Not sure if I like the vibrance of Essence or the pearl/color muting of FK1000P, FK makes the paint look black in certain light, then you get close and see the sun make the paint dance green and pearl. Work parking garage gets pretty dusty, but since the hood was super clean, a good foaming and touchless wash would take care of the dust. BUT I came out to this:

I estimate at least 8 linear feet of these drags on the paint. Someone decided that it would be okay to drag their fingers along the hood of my car, dust and all. I haven`t even touched the car since I got home, but light inspection shows micro scratches. Needless to say, I will be finding a new parking spot. Probably going to prewash the entire car tomorrow morning, wash it, and then see how well Essence+ will fill the micro scratches.
