What did you do detailing wise today?

I spent 4-5 hours each of the last 2 days polishing one of our Mack truck cabs and applying a coat Blackfire Wet Diamond, All Finish Paint Protection only used this 2 times since I bought it but I do love i I just usually go for spray sealants or Hydro2 type products for ease of use. Still have to do the roof but thats for another day as thats real pain with the height and reaching. Got to use my new Groits G21 with 5" pads per Justin`s recommendation and wow what a pleasure compared to my GG6. Smoother,Faster,Quieter. Also got to use Wolfgang Uber Compound 3.0 (Free Sample) And Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 and I loved both. They worked a lot better for me then Meg M105 on the single stage paint, M105 dries out very fast on the Mack Single stage paint and leaves with short work times and it dries so fast and hard I need to use detail spray to soften it so i can wipe it off. Wolfgangs products both worked 2 times as long and wiped of very easy with just a towel.

It was of my understanding that n-914 can work a little bit as a softener so I thought i`ld try with the foam canon and it got more sudsy and clung a lot better too

I have no idea, but that shot from the right-rear is MONEY.

It does act as softener in regular bucket.... So now that you said that, makes a ton of sense.

I have been researching spray coatings like Mckee`s 37 Blue and iron remover. I forgot I have a bottle of 3D BDX. So I gave a good dowsing to the very rear lower fender right side of my truck bed. The opposite side was sprayed with Dub. Very little iron dissolving with the BDX. So either the BDX is not working or I have very little iron deposits due to weekly detailing. The Dub did nothing but stay green. After a thorough rinse, both sides were treated to a layer of PNS.
Has anyone compared Nanoskin iron remover to Mckee`s 37 iron remover? The Nanoskin is cheaper for same size bottle. Thank you for your input.

It`s the weekly cleanings, since the first time I detailed my car, whenever I IronX, I barely get anyting. Weekly cleanings and an excellent LSP go along way.

Thank you for confirming what I was hoping
