What did you do detailing wise today?

Current temp is 44 degrees. Gave my truck a quick wipe with Sonax detail spray. I was concerned about the temp and streaking. My concerns were quickly banished as I began to wipe. The cold body panels and air temp had no ill affects. I am very pleased with the results.

Has any of you guys or gals ever used Meguiars Express Wax in mid 40 degree temps? Any issue with streaks, flashing?

Detailed my friends car so he can try to sell it and get something fun. First paid job in a long time.
Washed with Mr Pink, and the sprayed down with ironx. Clayed and put a coat of PB White glaze and Natty`s red paste. Coated trim and tires with a Chemical guys product that I`ve had for a while. Forget which one.

Finally Did a thorough detail on the interior of my car that I bought a few weeks ago. Figured it would be a good thing to do so I can advertise my skills at cars and coffee tomorrow

Lol yeah that`s my next step. Working inside out since I just did a polish and seal on it last week and it had to sit in the rain while I was doing someone else`s car.

Cleaned some bird poo off of a b5 srt i am considering purchasing and then when they let me test drive it i ended up stopping at my car and cleaning the front windshield inside and out

What can i say? I am Not at all used to looking through a dirty windshield

Bird poo etched the spoiler already and the car has 75 miles :(

One of the Cadillacs I coated a couple of weeks ago wanted XPel headlight protection film installed. Then he wanted a quick ONR wash to get oily hand prints from recent service work off of the vehicle.

Next up was a big Dodge Van. I under quoted on this big beast but live and learn. He wanted the same Hydro2 applied to his van after I applied it to his Nissan Titan.

The white paint looked clean from far away, but once I started to wash it, the clean white paint underneath showed a clear film over the entire exterior.

How easy is the XPel headlight film to work with? And will it provide enough UV protection to stop freshly corrected headlights from clouding back over? Or is it better to add a coating first then apply the film?

Reason, I ask is a buddy wants to sand-off the cr@p job a previous owner did (2K Clear) and use XPel headlight film instead.
 
How many of y`all live in florida and where in Florida? I`m conetemplating moving down there when I get out of the military since my wife is from ybor/Tampa area but I don`t want to live in that area. I was think more of Jupiter area. But I want to live where my business can thrive.
