What did you do detailing wise today?

Nicely done. :bigups

Thanks! the guy was impressed and said it looks like a new car. I didn`t get a finished pic of the SUV just the wheel with dressing. What`s nice is he`s bringing his new white Mercedes from his other house later on for me to do!

2 more coats of exo on a test panel,

Got CSL on tailgate and topped with c2v3 and cure (same price range) and left csl only control

Still debating if i want to do anything polishing wise on the drivers side. Don`t feel like polishing tonight. Think it`ll be a spray showdown instead

I bought a used 370 a few months ago and have been neglecting the badly swirled B-pillars. These are soft plastic and scratch easily.

Looking bad!

Process working! Top part corrected with Adapt and 4" orange pad by hand.

Looking better. Topped with 845. A bit cloudy due to 100% humidity today.

oh, and "thanks" for discontinuing Adapt 3D!

Used to much.

So I detailed the exterior of my friends 300C yesterday and it came out amazing. I polished Menzerna PO91E sealed with Wolfgang`s deep gloss sealant topped with Wolfgang`s fuzion spray wax

I love my Detail Buddy Brush Set, but i don`t trust the wooden handles, especially since i like to soak my brushes in the bucket before using them.I went ahead and added a few coats of plasti dip to the handles in hopes that it`ll provide longevity to the integrity of the handle.

With the random showers these past few weeks, i didn`t want to do a "proper" wash on my coated car but i wanted to remove the bulk of the dirt sitting on it; so the other day i simply sprayed some Mckee`s 37 Waterless Wash, let dwell for a few minutes then rinse all the dirt off. Came out looking better than i expected.

Filled this puppy up with lots of detailing goodies and donated as a community detail chest for my Mopar car club family to use as needed
Everything from auto wash soap to wheel cleaners, etc.

Now they have no excuse to whine to me about, haha

Good idea!

Thanks , the wood absorbs quite a good amount of the plastidip, so after my first mister coat I was applying a bit more on the heavy side to where it was borderline runny . Since the wood absorbed it well, it all stayed in place and I didn`t notice any drips. Overall 1 mist coat, and 2-3 heavy coats.

I was thinking about the plastidip........ I might have done the plastic as well, to protect car.

Just a thought, but I`m a hack.

cleaned up a friend`s loaner 2016 wrangler while his ride was in the shop during the hurricane weather. gave it a bath and a wipe down with fk425. i haven`t been in a wrangler in a lot of years, but this was the best riding 4wd i`ve ever been in. very comfortable and a super tight turning radius. i was impressed.

I thought about it as well, but since I don`t use these aggressively( quick agitation and speeding around the car) and instead use them very gently on paint, I figured it`ll be fine. Maybe if the plastidip I have was a lot thicker and rubbery upon drying up I would have done it.

I can always change my mind and go for it in the future.

It is a bit, but not as rubbery as a tool`s rubber handle. I THINK they offer a version that is supposed to be thicker for that purpose, but I only have the "regular" version.
